why I do what I do
As someone who struggles with anxiety, I know how hard everyday situations can be as well as situations that no one ever prepares you for. My plushies and creations aren't for kids, well they can be, but they're for anyone seeking a friend to hug, the sensory experience of touching something crocheted and detailed like my items are and for anyone who likes to feel the love and care that goes into making something handmade through a hug. Any age, gender, literally anyone can enjoy and love my items and that's why I create
Hello There!
I'm Grace and I'm from Vermont USA and I make everything in this shop with my own two hands! I also own the shop as well as manage events, marketing, accounting, etc,. If you couldn't tell, I like yellow a lot!
I'm currently a business student focsuing in entreprenuership and I'm so excited to grow my business fixed mindset as well as my artistic skills in fiber arts, sewing and graphic design on the side!
I started crocheting about 2 and a half years ago when I was diagnosed with an eating disorder and found recovery very stressful and anxiety inducing. As a way to relax, I taught myself how to crochet and it helped me get through the toughest parts of my recovery journey!
Besides crochet, I love to watch movies and upcycling old garments into new accessories and clothing, I'm a big Marvel, Star Wars and period drama fan, and my absolute favorite movie of all time is 100% Greta Gerwig's Little Women from 2019! I also love organizing and playing video games when I'm not working on my business but I'll be honest, I'm pretty much always working on my business because it's my happy place!
